So, another way to get a nice bevel on those Formica edges is with a straight file at a 45 deg. angle. Just make sure you don’t file upwards, you may crack the edge. My grandpa taught me that way and I still do it this way.

I think the Woodpeckers stuff is typically overpriced, but what you're seeing is called tolerance stackup. That isn't a problem with their jig, but a problem with how tolerances compound when added up.

I really enjoyed the show. I subscribed. I'm a beginner and love adding stuff to my modest shop. But honestly I don't need one. I need to learn how to use the jigsaw better. Thank you.

It's not a horrible board but it isn't first rate with those visible knots. For much less than $2K you can get a board even coloring and no blemishes.

You can buy black pip and pipe clamps making clamps any length you need. I have 2 14' pipe clamps that cost me $40 for both

Mayo. I’ve been looking to get a sliding MS and haven’t found one that checks all the boxes. As a cabinet maker accuracy is vital. I like the Bosch except I don’t believe it has a laser or light cut line which is a deal breaker.
